Hi! I’m Nikki, a Chinese artist based on Melbourne. I am a final-year Animation and Interactive Media student at RMIT, specialising in 2D animation with a strong foundation in visual storytelling, character development, and design thinking.As a multidisciplinary designer, I bring adaptability and a broad creative toolkit—from character and scene design to narrative writing, illustration, and motion. While my core strength lies in 2D animation, I am comfortable working across a range of design contexts, and I enjoy tailoring my approach to suit each project’s needs, tone, and audience. I value visual clarity, emotional resonance, and stylistic flexibility, and I thrive in collaborative environments where storytelling meets design.
I’m experienced in Toon Boom Harmony, Toon Boom story boarder and digital painting, I’m also familiar with After Effect,Adobe Audio and Autodesk Maya for basic use.
I’m flexible and open to different types of design and animation roles. In my work, I enjoy experimenting with new techniques and tackling complex challenges to deliver creative solutions!
